Shopping in Market Walk couldn’t be easier. There’s a wide variety of well-known brands,  along with a six screen cinema, entertainment venue including ten-pin bowling and adventure golf and restaurants, plus, plenty going on throughout the year to keep the whole family entertained.

There’s excellent parking facilities right on the doorstep with plenty of free or low cost parking in Chorley town centre*, during the week and free parking after 1pm Saturday, all day Sunday and Bank Holidays. *Check tariff boards for details.
Chorley’s bus interchange and railway station are just next door too.


In 2013, Chorley Council purchased Market Walk with ambitious plans to develop the mall and bring even more shops and retail space to Chorley town centre.


There are lots of improvements happening right across Chorley town centre and Market Walk is a vital part of giving shoppers exactly what they want from their high street.


With its well-known brands, busy markets and high quality independents, Chorley town centre has a lot to offer and Chorley Council is Making it Happen, when it comes to investing and improving in the town centre.


In late 2019 Market Walk shopping centre, in the heart of Chorley town centre, opened it’s new purpose-built extension on the Flat Iron, to include a six-screen Reel Cinema, Escape Entertainment Venue (including ten-pin bowling, adventure golf and restaurant), Calico Lounge and M&S Food Hall and later Sports Direct.

As a result of all this work, the Tuesday market relocated to the streets of Chorley which has proved popular so far with traders and shoppers.
